In the summer of 2022 I visited my favorite parts of the city and drew them with Posca paint markers and colored pencils. After creating a collection of 10, I framed and sold the original artworks and proceeded to make postcard print sets to sell. The collection did so well the next year, in 2023, I did a new set of 10 and another set of postcards. I submitted the artwork to LinkNYC, digital kiosks scattered around the city, and the drawings were featured there. I wanted to create artwork that was as colorful and full of life as the city I have grown to love.
